Don’t get me wrong here, I’m ALLLLLLLL about the morning coffee. I love it so much, I made a podcast about it. But ever notice how that second pot (or third or fourth) never tastes quite the same? I think I’ve figured out why. Have a listen.

Oh, and also, so much love to the hubby who took the kids out for a hike on a cold and dreary Mother’s Day so I could have some quiet time to play around and come up with a new intro. Remember that little ‘positive energy’ background track I found? It’s back today! Feel free to let me know what you think in the comments below. Slowly slowly, I’m attempting to make this real.

In case anyone is interested, I’ve been doing the meditations I reference with The Daily. Sign up and you’ll get a guided (by video) meditation in your inbox every morning. It’s led by Adreanna Limbach and her friendly circle of meditation teachers. Each is about 20 minutes, with some pre & post reflection, so the meditation itself is usually between 13-18 minutes (which I learned this weekend is apparently the length at which gray matter in the brain begins to change and meditation begins to make a difference in real life). You can try a meditation out on their website. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for some direction on the cushion. This is not an affiliate link - I just really enjoy it so I’m sharing here.
