Has it really been a year since the last event?
Yep, EXACTLY a year. But nevermind. Let’s go!
Angie McManaman is BACK with more hilarious standup comedy for us! And in between her sets, we’ll try our hand (and brushes) at watercolor. All supplies will be provided, unless you have a favorite brush or paint set, in which case, bring it! (and in which case, you’ll probably be WAY more advanced than the rest of us, because NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED). We’re just messing around, enjoying the splatters, splotches and splendid creations we can make on the paper while we mingle with (new) friends!
The Specifics:
When: Wednesday, January 31st. 6:30-9:30 (ish)
Where: Company Brewing, 735 E Center St. Milwaukee, WI 53212
Attire: We’re adults, will it get messy? Maybe. Dress appropriately for painting. Be comfortable please.
Cost: This is new, but I’m tired of calling Angela an ‘amateur’ and professionals get paid, so there will be a Venmo QR code upon arrival. Suggested donation $10 for comedy and art supplies. But do not let cost prohibit you from coming. I won’t be keeping tabs.
Bring: Just yourself and maybe a paintbrush if you have one you like. Company Brewing has drinks and food, so feel free to come hungry and thirsty and treat yourself at the (cash) bar. Please support them for so generously giving us this space.
RSVP: This is a MUST. I need to let Company Brewing know how many to expect! All are welcome, but there will only be tables for 30 to watercolor, so get there early if you know you want to paint! Please RSVP below!
But must I be a creative in order to come? ABSOLUTELY NOT. (Although I do believe that we are ALL creative). This is about having fun, building community, making new friends, saying ‘hey’ to old friends, and trying something new.
